Machinery Information-A group of 87 teachers and students from Qinyike visited CHMER

In order to enhance exchanges and cooperation between Taiwan's machinery industry and various science and technology colleges and universities, the Taiwan Machinery Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the Machinery Association) has been committed to promoting industry-university cooperation for many years, combining theory and practice, to assist Taiwan's machinery and equipment industry in applying the knowledge of academia. Expertise and resources enable the machinery industry to accelerate its technological advancement. Currently, the Machinery Association’s work projects for industry-university cooperation include: industry mentors, summer internships, factory visits, talent matchmaking, technical cooperation activities, etc.

Factory visits are an important part of industry-university cooperation. On December 28, 2017, 86 students from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the National Qinyi University of Science and Technology, led by Professor Lin Jinxiong, went to visit CHMER to gain a practical understanding of the industry. Production process and understanding of the working environment of the machinery industry. It is hoped that students can apply what they have learned and join the machinery industry in the future.
