CHMER, which occupies a place in the world's machining machine tools, began to complete the research and development and mass production of controllers through cooperation with the Industrial Research Institute many years ago. When the Taipei International Machine Tool Exhibition opened today (7th), Vice President Chen Jianren made a special time to visit its latest intelligent linear motor wire cutting machine and learn about the research and development status of the Taiwanese factory.

CHMER started with electric discharge machines in the early days. Following the development of the times, it transformed into computerized CNC wire cutting machines. Today, it develops CNC high-speed processing machines through independent research and development. It is one of the few manufacturers in Taiwan that can mass-produce controllers by itself.

Vice President Chen Jianren specially visited the CHMER booth to visit the RV853L-intelligent linear motor-driven wire cutting machine, which won the Taiwan Excellence Gold Award in 2017. General Manager Wang Chenhong said that 90% of the machine's components and key technologies are self-made by CHMER , including controllers, power-saving processing power supplies, linear motors, etc.

Wang Chenhong said that as early as 20 to 25 years ago, CHMER developed mass production controllers through technology transfer from the Industrial Research Institute. It invested 3% of its turnover in the R&D department every year and continued to innovate every year. It has won the Taiwan Excellence Award for five consecutive years. A total of 33 products have won awards. The company has created a niche with differentiation and is committed to developing intelligent and non-traditional processing Total Solutions as its development positioning to satisfy customers in the aerospace and medical industries. CHMER's current largest customers are Hon Hai, OPPO OEM, BYD, Haier, etc.
