The President, Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs Shen Rongjin and other delegation members visited CHMER Industrial Co., Ltd., the largest electrical discharge processing machine manufacturer in China and the fifth largest in the world, located in Taichung Precision Machinery Park on May 23. Wang Chairman Takeo and his supervisors personally received the president and introduced CHMER's latest research and development results and high-end electrical discharge machining products to the president, and also arranged to visit the production site.

When the President communicated with Chairman Wang of CHMER Company, in addition to carefully listening to CHMER's briefing on the company's future development and global layout, he also expressed his affirmation that CHMER Company focuses on the development of the discharge equipment industry and allocates at least 3% of its turnover for R&D and innovation every year. Including the launch of two key machine tool components, the self-made controller and linear motor, and the world's first and fastest (6 seconds) automatic threading device, leading Taiwanese brands to form a three-legged competition with Japanese and Swiss products. The products sell well in both Taiwan and the international market. , is regarded by the industry in mainland China as a miracle in the development of electrical discharge processing machines. Due to CHMER's efforts in R&D and innovation, CHMER has won awards in the "Machine Tool Research, Development and Innovation Product Competition" of the Taipei International Machine Tool Show in every session since 1994. It can be said to be a model for innovative R&D of machine tools in my country.
