[Reporter Cai Rongchang/Exclusive Interview] CHMER, which specializes in the production of electric discharge machines and wire cutting machines, has been integrating the technological essence of major European, American and Japanese manufacturers for more than 30 years, and has strong independent product research and development capabilities and strong technology. , capital advantage, created a miracle of corporate development since 1993, with performance growing for 14 consecutive years. The products have been sold through more than 75 sales points around the world, and more than 10,000 machines have been sold to more than 50 countries. The annual export sales to more than five countries and regions account for about 25% of Taiwan's exports. It has successfully marketed its own brand "CHMER" around the world and has become the leader of Taiwan's electrical discharge processing machine industry. The following is the summary of the exclusive interview with Wang Wuxiong, Chairman of CHMER Company.

Q: The current competition in the wire cutting machine industry is fierce. How can we innovate products to break new ground?

Answer: Take the newly launched high-precision moving column wire cutting machine (AW5S) as an example. This product combines the advantages of various manufacturers and is designed from the perspective of users in the processing industry, making the use of this machine closer to market demand. , due to its high processing precision and excellent mechanical quality and performance, it has almost reached the technological level of major international manufacturers. The new AW5S product launched this time is launched under the "AMS" brand. CHMER's dual-brand marketing is mainly intended to adopt the brand strategy of high-grade, high-end market demand and popular routes in the electric discharge processing machine market, and use the market consumer segmentation to provide processing operators with the most diverse purchasing options. To meet the different needs of various market groups; "CHMER" focuses on the mass market by emphasizing reputation and fair prices, while "AMS" aims to expand international horizons and improve the ultimate craftsmanship of electrical discharge processing machine products.

Q: What are the features of the AW5S moving column wire cutting machine?

Answer: The AW5S moving column wire cutting machine adopts the CNC PC BASE controller developed by the company's own software and hardware. It has a highly friendly and easy-to-learn and easy-to-operate human-machine interface. It can bring out the processing graphics simultaneously when browsing the program name. Visual operation makes management convenient for the operator; the newly designed high-rigidity honeycomb box base design, the enlarged machine span and the three-point support improve the rigidity of the machine and ensure the long-term stability of the machine body; equipped with the newly improved wire feeding And tension control system greatly improves system stability; AC servo motor uses 17BIT / 130,000 PULSE resolution for more accurate positioning. Each machine must pass a circle test. Through adjustment, the true roundness can be within 5u, plus The newly designed inter-electrode wire (electrode wire) circuit can reduce the possibility of interference and increase the life of the inter-electrode wire (electrode wire).

Q: CHMER’s future development plan?

Answer: CHMER currently has three factories in Wuri Industrial City, Taichung. In order to develop new technologies and high-end new products, CHMER has already planned to set up a factory in the "Taichung City Precision Machinery Technology Innovation Park" with a total investment of more than 800 million. Yuan, the construction license was obtained in September this year, and it is expected to be completed by the end of 2008 and officially put into operation in March 2009. By then, people in the global industry will be able to see the new atmosphere of CHMER.
