CHMER AP42SL gantry-type constant temperature control high-precision wire cutting machine won the Excellent Award in the CNC machine tool category for innovative product research and development of machine tools.

[Taichung News] CHMER innovatively developed the AP42SL gantry-type constant temperature controlled high-precision wire cutting machine to cater to the market's extremely precise, large-scale processing and environmental protection and energy-saving needs. CHMER Chairman Wang Wuxiong said that the AP42SL gantry-type constant temperature controlled high-precision wire cutting machine is an energy-saving and high-rigidity design to ensure the long-term stability of the machine body. It is energy-saving and environmentally friendly and has a high-precision control loop design. The machine structure is controlled by a constant temperature design and has mature changes. The rigid gantry design with positional symmetry and balance offset, and the self-compensation system for temperature difference of the lower arm can reduce the thermal change of bits due to temperature changes and ensure high-precision requirements after processing.

The machine is equipped with a linear motor drive that will never produce backlash. It uses a linear scale fully closed loop digital servo to improve the efficiency of fine machining. The lower arm does not penetrate the processing water tank. The special slope discharge waste line design improves the efficiency of precision machining. Generally, the submersible wire cutting machine has the disadvantage that the lower arm needs to penetrate the processing water tank, which causes water leakage and interference due to friction, which affects the processing. Provide high-precision mold processing with repeatability and positioning within 1 μm.

CHMER's machine accessories and related components are highly self-made. The machine's software and hardware adopt the CNC PC-BASED controller independently developed by CHMER, which greatly reduces costs and simplifies maintenance technology. It has a human-machine interface that is easy to learn and operate.
