To customers suffering from flooding

We are deeply sorry for the customers affected by the flooding in Thailand. If the machinery and equipment is flooded, please contact our agent or Taiwan head office immediately. We will send someone to confirm as soon as possible. Before that, please take the following expedient measures:

• Please confirm that all power to the machine has been removed. Do not supply power until CHMER personnel confirm it.
• Open the electrical control box, clean all soaked parts inside with clean water, and dry them immediately.
• Open the machine control box, clean all soaked parts inside with clean water, and dry them immediately.
• Remove the machine plate, clean all soaked internal parts (screws, slide rails, etc.) with clean water, dry them immediately, and then wipe and lubricate the machine equipment with lubricating oil.
• If the air conditioning equipment is operational, please turn on the dryer.

To the customer caught in the Flood

We sincerely sympathize for everyone who was affected by the Flood of customer relationship in this. If the plant had been submerged, please inform Chmer’s agencies or the headquarters in Taiwan. We will visit to confirm the damage as soon as possible. Until then, please take the following works as a stopgap measure.

• Please be sure that the electricity has been completely detached; do not supply any electricity until confirmation visit by professionally trained CHMER staff.
• Open power cabinet, then wash thoroughly with clean water and let it dry.
• Also, open machine cabinet, then wash submerged parts in it with clean water and let them dry.
• Please disassemble machine sheet metal, then wash submerged mechanical unit (linear guide, ball screw, etc.) with clean water. Dry them and apply grease to mechanical unit.
• If air conditioner can operate, please operate it to dry the machine.
