The CHMER Shou-Yi Education Foundation arranged for students from five World Vision Centers in the Central Region of Taiwan to visit CHMER for a one-day workplace experience and industry awareness event. Let’s broaden our horizons and explore the future together! The morning session includes industry introduction, career exploration and job sharing. Through presentations, students are led to understand the machine tool industry and learn about career exploration, followed by practical experience sharing of 7 different jobs. In the afternoon session, we led the students into the wire cutting production site. When the whistle of the final hands-on game sounded, the activity reached its climax. Game design allows students to learn to cultivate team spirit and the ambition to win glory for the team. The event ended with warm laughter from the audience. As the Outlook Club wrote in the thank you letter after the meeting, they thanked CHMER for giving the children a very exciting, fulfilling and educational visit. I believe that the affirmation and encouragement given by the older brothers and sisters have planted the seeds of dreams in the hearts of these children..
