To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of Hong Machinery and Electrical, the innovatively developed UA432L-Green Energy Three-in-One Wire-Motor Driven Wire Cutting Machine won the highest honor of the 33rd 2025 Taiwan Excellence Gold Award, and the high-precision GV5043L-High Precision Wire-Motor Driven Wire Cutting Machine won the Taiwan Excellence Award. Both machines shine together, meeting the smart manufacturing, green energy and environmental protection, and high-precision manufacturing needs of precision molds and parts processing, demonstrating the outstanding strength of green intelligent manufacturing.

Taiwan's machine tool industry has recently faced multiple challenges. Factors such as Sino-US trade frictions, the Russo-Ukrainian war and the Middle East conflict have exacerbated global economic uncertainty. The depreciation of the Japanese yen has greatly increased the price competitiveness of Japanese machine tools in the international market. Mainland China has actively seized the international market with a low-price strategy, further disrupting the global competition pattern and bringing more variables and pressure to Taiwanese companies. UA432L demonstrates its leading strength in energy conservation and carbon reduction from multiple aspects, including: a new three-in-one design that greatly reduces the footprint, which can be 20% less than traditional models; through the innovative "High-Efficiency Energy Management System (HEMS)", the overall processing energy consumption is reduced by 40%; built-in green processing mode, copper wire consumption is reduced by 42%; and it is equipped with a water system energy-saving solution, including the use of high-efficiency motors, variable frequency coolers and smart energy-saving standby/warm-up functions, which greatly reduce energy use; equipped with a self-made new version of the controller, improved computing performance and new circuit development, significantly improving equipment performance. UA432L showcases the features of green machine tools and smart machinery, achieving green energy saving and smart manufacturing.

Another winner of the 2025 Taiwan Excellence Award, the GV5043L high-precision linear motor-driven wire cutting machine, focuses on high-end applications with extreme precision. It is equipped with independently developed linear motor technology to ensure friction-free, backlash-free, and low-energy operation, making it suitable for the manufacture of complex parts and precision molds. This machine perfectly combines high precision and stable performance, further consolidating the core position of CHMER Taiwan brand in the field of high-precision machining.
